I need help with my depression

When a person realizes that the problem he or she is facing is depression and these are signs of depression then it makes it easier to treat them. For those who feel that there is no problem and they just have some ordinary blues it would be difficult to convince them to start on a treatment and counseling. Often depression and anxiety go together and the person has to cope with both these problems making their condition quite pathetic. So if there is any sign of either of these the person needs help.

If you are going through signs of depression the best way to manage it is to avoid being alone and without something to keep you occupied. It is only when there is extreme loneliness that the feelings of depression are magnified and out of control. Talking to someone close about your feelings and getting them to keep you company is a good way to combat this problem. Exercise is another therapy for depression. Working out at a gym or even walking can make you feel better.

Depression can set in because of an unpleasant or sad incident and this usually passes off, but if it is because of a genetic reason then you would have to take antidepressants and also go through psychiatric treatment. If the depression is severe and the cause is genetic it would be a bipolar disorder or manic depression and this needs to be handled by a qualified person who can treat such mental problems.
