1). Diet

2) Exercise

Exercise should be done in natural surroundings like gardens because the pleasant atmosphere helps to improve mental health.
Vigorous exercise has physiological effects like adrenaline rush which helps to boost mood for hours, so exercise regularly.
3) Sunlight.
Daily sunlight and fresh air helps to elevate your mood.
4) Light box.
Light box is helpful in cloudy days or when you don’t get a chance to go out. Look for few minutes in the light box and it will help to combat depression.
5) Meditation.
Meditation is also effective to fight stress and signs of depression. Repetition of Mantras is found to be the most effective type of meditation for depressed persons.
6) Sleep.
Inadequate sleep leads to poor functioning of the body and depression. So take adequate sleep of 7to 8 hours at night.
